Stop Hiring the Same Dumb Dick People

How do you expect different results if you keep hiring the same dumb dick people?

Almost every job description I read says something like: We want someone to turn things on it's head. Break the rules. Build a new play book. Create something thats never been done before. But must have 10+ years of experience in this exact area and a proven track record of converting business goals into revenue driving ideas.

Well which is it? Because those are two different things. You want to break rules and not give a fuck, then you need to hire someone who breaks rules and doesn’t give a fuck. Otherwise you’re hiring the same kind of people and expecting different results. They will bring the same lame shit that everyone else is doing. Because why wouldn’t they? It’s what they know. Just do the same thing the did at the last company they worked at and the company before that and the company before that.

Who write this job descriptions? Actually, I know who is writing it, some HR person using ChatGPT so a computer can read a resume and reject it for not having the right keywords. With all the technological advances humans have made I’m still in awe that this is what we do with it. I hate us. byyyeeeeeee
